President Barack Obama is changing the location of his visit in Burlington.

Obama will be coming to Athletic Campus instead of the Sheraton Hotel March 30, and singer/ songwriter Grace Potter and her band, The Nocturnals, will be performing at the event, according to the Burlington Free Press.

Campaign officials said that the move was due to an "overwhelming response."

The Obama Victory Fund reception begins at noon and tickets start at $44 for students or grassroot activists through the campaign's Gen44 program, according to an Obama campaign spokesperson.

Students said they were excited about the prospect of Obama becoming more accessible by having the event on campus.

"It's a cool opportunity," sophomore Emily Howe said. "I'll definitely try to go."

Other students said they were still concerned about the price tag.

"The discount is pretty good, but I don't really have 44 bucks to glance at Obama," first-year Andrew Bowen said.
