Senior killed in I-89 crash

Senior Benjamin Mohla was killed Saturday afternoon in pickup truck crash on highway I-89, according to an article in the Massachusetts Republican.
Driving the truck was fellow senior Jonathan Taliadoros. Amongst the snow, Taliadoros lost control of the vehicle, slid off the west side of the highway and slammed into a tree located at the bottom of the hill.
The impact severely damaged the back section of the passenger compartment where Mohla was sitting. Mohla was reported to have not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to CBS Boston news.
Senior Myles Cox was also one of Taliadoros’ passengers. Cox sustained neck injuries in the accident. Taliadoros sustained head injuries in the crash according to the Massachusetts Republican.
The accident remains under investigation.
The wake for Mohla will be held on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield, Mass.
